Lea Pre-School News

I would like to thank the committee and every one of the 248 people who came to see the Mangled Wurzels at Aquetong Farm on Friday 20th.  A very special thank you to Andy and Tina Taylor who provided the venue (and sold half the tickets!!!).  Great fun was had by all and we made a massive £4,000 to be split between Lea Pre-school and CLIC.

We have employed two new members of staff at Pre-School. Our new full time member has a wealth of knowledge in childcare having been a Deputy Supervisor and supervisor of a local Nursery for 10 years. She is also well known to the staff and some parents, which is nice!! Our second new recruit is a qualified lecturer in Education with Special Needs and has spent the last 20 years with the Moscow State Circus as an acrobat!!!!  She has led a colourful life, adores children and has oodles of energy! And of course, we still have Felicity, keeping it all together!

We will have delivery of our new computer soon which is a result of money raised on our Quiz night held at The Rose and Crown and our Advent Fayre.  Many thanks to those

who supported us - the children will really benefit from this.
