The group was formed in April 2004 when 6 people did a local walk.The pattern was set of a morning walk of approximately 6 miles followed by a pub lunch.

 

From that day onwards there has been a walk on every alternate Wednesday (except for holiday breaks ) as well as a number of 3-day walking holidays in different parts of the country each year.

 

 

Most walks are within a 10 mile radius of Lea. Over the last 2.5 years, 34 people have taken part at some time, with an average of  12 to 15 per walk.

All walks begin at 9.30a.m. from The Rose & Crown at Lea unless otherwise stated.
