Lea Dads plays a casual “turn up and play” game every Saturday morning – Click here for details. There are several clubs nearby who play in local leagues, and Malmesbury Youth FC is particularly good for kids’ football.

There are currently 5 skittles teams that play in various divisions of the Malmesbury and

District Skittles League at Lea's Rose & Crown pub.

Division 2 - Avons - Captain is Nigel Walker

Division 2 - Brussel Sprouts - Captain is Michael Hicks

Division 3 - Arrows - Captain is Tony Clarke

Division 5 - Better Half - Captain is Frank Collingborn

of the teams is playing, and asking them if they're looking for new  players.

The Malmesbury League has a total of 98 teams playing in seven divisions on
21 alleys - approximately 1,300 people playing in the league over one season.

The secretary of the league is Brian White (01666 823858) and he's the person to contact

if anybody would like to start a new   team in the league.

More details can be found on the League's own website: Malmesbury And District Skittles League

Summer League

Lea also runs its own summer skittles league at the Rose and Crown from May through to September.

This is run by Tony Clarke (01666 823326) and he's the person to contact if you are interested

in forming a new  team, or seeing whether there are any vacancies in existing teams.
